OUR METHODS’ EXPERT
A qualified professional who is responsible for high quality and standards of teaching is Mauricio Soto.
Mauricio holds a B.A. in translation and interpretation in Spanish, English and German by the Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina). He started to work as a commercial translator/interpreter in 1996. From 1997- 1999 he did German Studies at the Fremdspracheninstitut der Landeshaupstadt München, Germany. In 2000 he received a TEFL/ TESOL Certificate from the Department of English at Georgetown University.
Mauricio is also a certified Profesor de Español como Lengua Extranjera (Teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language), by both the Instituto Cervantes de Madrid (Spain) and the Universidad Ricardo Palma (Peru). Throughout his career, he has worked as a Spanish lecturer, foreign language mentor, English and German teacher, consultant with local organizations, volunteering programs and various academic institutions in the USA and South America. He has just completed a Certificate Program in ELSE (Enseñanza de Español como Lengua Segunda y Extranjera) at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA).
